Community Might NOT Be for You
I like describing myself as a "curiosity-inspired explorer." This past month has been kind of a breakthrough for me in that regard and I love sharing what I'm learning.
Sharing what I'm learning is the second reason that I formed a Joyful Creativity TikTok Accountability Community. The first reason was that I needed to "scratch my own itch," to find a way to get consistent on TikTok because I finally really got itβduring the exploration of TikTok on this Video Mojo episodeβthat posting every friggin' day on TikTok is what it takes to grow, both professionally and personally.
Now, I'm on a streak. I've posted every day during April and it's working.
In case you're curious how well this is working (although the numbers are only a small part of the benefits), this TikTok video is my biggest breakout clip to date. It now has 10,400 views with almost 600 likes! I've never had anywhere near that many likes or views on any social media post, anywhere, ever.
TikTok is not for everyone. So, if this is not for you, I get it. I'm looking for a special breed of video creator who is willing to experiment, show their face, and have fun every step of the way. This TikTok video explains more about who's a good fit for this community.
