Special thanks to those of you who responded to my survey. The results are below. Education about video tools and tips is the clear winner. 🏆 Good to know! Speaking of video tools, I check out more than my share of AI-enabled video apps. In this crowded field, I’m impressed with Synthesia. More than a way to use text (or images) to create mind-bending generative AI video clips, Synthesia is a video platform with a clear vision and roadmap (unlike other AI apps whose timeline for delivery of something useful is opaque). Here's their brand-spankin' new demo video just in case you want to drill down: Another differentiator for Synthesia is that it's backed by AI powerhouse and Wall Street darling, Nvidia, both financially ($90 million) and, perhaps even more importantly, with Nvidia's vast technical expertise. Most importantly, the Synthesia video platform is much more than just AI video generation. It's a real storytelling app that specializes in video avatars a.k.a. synthetic spokespeople. It's a new world, people. I particularly like the use case model mentioned in the video. Imagine a company that has a full support library of text how-to files. Synthesia will soon be able to automagically upgrade those text files into talking-head videos using templates. That seems to me to be a very practical and valuable use of AI video. Likewise, the way that Synthesia is planning to integrate one-click translations into their player looks extremely powerful, useful, and empowering to a global audience. If you check it out, please let me know what you think. The survey question was, "How Can I Serve You Best?"
